LastPass: Shining example of what to do when a compromise occurrs

On May 4, LastPass informed its users and the public that someone may have had unauthorized access to its servers. The company immediately set in motion a forced reset of all master passwords for all users. It then continued with a very commendable action of informing everyone, users and public alike, to what the problem was and what steps they were using to mitigate the issue. And Management even allowed an interview on a live podcast of Tech News Today on the TWiT network.

When this company that prides itself on keeping your passwords safe, had a compromise of its system it was open and honest about very quickly. Unlike how other companies handled the few security breaches over the past month, this one is a shining example of how other companies should act and react.
